Who We Are
Jordan Pharris
My love for dogs and hunting were developed at a young age. Growing up we had multiple dogs in the house. Most were field bred Golden Retrievers. My father loved his dogs and taught me the joy and passion of working the field with a dog. We hunted ducks, geese, prairie chickens, sharptail grouse, pheasants, and quail. Nothing was off limits. Some of my fondest memories are from those early hunting trips. Little did I know, these trips would shape and mold me into a dog man. I remember watching those dogs work. I was fascinated how such a simple creature could be so intelligent. After college I moved to Brained, MN to work for Chad Heinz at Willow Creek Kennels. This is where my pointing dog foundation was built. With Chad and Willow Creeks reputation for building and breeding fine bird dogs (German Shorthair Pointers) I was able to hone my skills. Chad and Charlie taught me a proven system to build a well rounded bird dog. I read everything I could find about dogs. I tried every training system out there until I found what works best for me to teach a dog. Patience is key. Adaption is a must. Consistency is the core. Build good bird dogs is what we strive to do everyday.
