Ruffed Country Kennels

Ruffed Country Kennels is a small 12 run kennel outside of Brainerd, MN on 40 acres of Grouse and Woodcock habitat. Our main focus is training grouse and woodcock dogs, but we train for all your hunting needs regardless of breed. We also breed a small number of English Setter and English Pointer litters. Jordan Pharris started the kennel in 2025 after a decade of working with Chad and Tracy Heinz and Charlie Wilczek at Willow Creek kennels. He honed his skills training over a thousand dogs during his time at Willow Creek. Great mentors along the way have guided his path to owning and running his own kennel.
